Carriage of Drones & other accepted items

• Drones/Quadcopters are powered by lithium batteries. Lithium battery operated devices are accepted for carriage in the cabin once the battery does not excess 160 watt hours. If the battery exceeds 160wh the device will not be accepted for carriage.
• A self inflating life-jacket is also accepted that contains 2 carbon dioxide cylinders (plus 2 spares) and can be included in either your cabin or checked baggage.
• An avalanche rescue pack with one nitrogen/air cylinder in either your cabin or checked baggage is permitted.
• Parachutes of any type, recreational or sports, or paragliding wings (also known as 'canopy') can be accepted for carriage as checked-in or carry-on baggage, subject to the standard restrictions for size and weight. These packs may contain an auxiliary or emergency 'chute' and a barometric mechanical activating (auto-release) device. The parachute pack must not contain pyrotechnics or smoke canisters, we cannot carry these accessories on the aircraft.

Carriage of Ashes

The carriage of ashes is permitted as cabin baggage, and may be carried in addition to your normal cabin baggage allowance provided that a copy of the death certificate and the cremation certificate accompanies them. You must ensure that the ashes are securely packaged in a suitable container with a screw top lid and protected against breakage.
